These terms govern your use of the Rightcited website and services ("Rightcited", "we", "us"). By purchasing a plan, running an AI Page Check, booking a scan call, or otherwise using the site, you agree to them. If you're acting for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Rightcited monitors and improves how AI assistants (currently ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity) describe and recommend your brand. The current offerings are: Fix, a monthly subscription priced per brand; Grow, custom engagements scoped and priced by agreement; the AI Page Check, a one-time automated report on a single URL; and the free 360° AI Search Scan, run live on a booked call for operating brands, one per company, at our discretion.
Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically every 30 days until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation stops future charges: your service continues to the end of the period you've already paid for, then ends.
Payments already made are not refundable. This applies to subscription payments for periods already started and to one-time purchases such as the AI Page Check. We spell out exactly what ships each month (see section 3) so you know what you're buying before you pay. If we materially fail to deliver, contact us and we'll work to put it right; any credit or exception is at our discretion and is not a right under these terms.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal, and you're free to cancel before then.
Fix is a service contract for the monthly deliverables published at rightcited.com/product: scheduled scans and reporting, on-site corrections, third-party correction outreach with documented follow-up, content production, community corrections where platform rules allow, and a dedicated communication channel. Those deliverables, as published at the start of each billing period, are what each payment purchases.
Better AI answers are the goal of that work and the reason it's worth doing, but no one can force a third-party AI model to say anything, and we don't guarantee any specific output, ranking, recommendation, or timeline inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or any other system we don't control. Anyone who guarantees that is selling something dishonest. What we commit to is the work, done honestly and documented.
The AI Page Check is an automated, one-time report on a single publicly reachable URL. If our system can't read your page (some pages block automated readers or require JavaScript), we run the check by hand and deliver the report within 1 business day; that fallback is part of the product, not grounds for a refund. Reports live at private, unguessable links: anyone you give the link to can read the report. Underlying job data is retained for about 180 days, then deleted.
Reports and deliverables we produce for you are yours to use for your business. Our methodology, software, templates, and site content remain ours. Your trademarks, site content, and data remain yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to do the work you've hired us for.
AI models change continuously; every report is a dated snapshot, accurate to what the models said when we asked. The services are provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for what third-party AI systems say, for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 90 days before the event giving rise to it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded.
You can stop using the services at any time (section 2 covers billing). We may suspend or end service for abuse, non-payment, unlawful use, or requests that violate section 5, with notice where practicable.
We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance. Material changes to a live subscription get direct notice. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in California. Questions: hello [at] rightcited [dot] com.
