AEO is being the answer. We write the pages that state what your buyers ask, plainly enough for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity to lift, and we check every week whether they did. $499 per brand per month, month to month.
Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the practice of becoming the answer rather than a result: writing pages that state the answer to a specific buyer question plainly, with the evidence beside it, so that AI assistants and answer boxes lift the statement whole and attribute it to the business that published it.
Each vendor documents a little of this, and the rest shows up in the answers themselves. The documented part, as of October 8, 2026:
What the vendors do not document, our weekly checks do: which pages the assistants actually read for a given buying question. Across the scans we have run this autumn, the pattern repeats in every category. The assistants read roundups and list posts, review and comparison sites, directories, retailer product cards and the rivals' own pages, and they quote whichever of those states the fact plainly. A brand's own site is read when the question is about the brand by name, and rarely when the question is about the category. That gap is the whole job.
An assistant lifts the sentence that answers the question. The page exists to put that sentence where the assistant will find it, and to earn the trust to quote it.
The weekly check lists the buyer questions where no assistant names you, which pages they read instead, and who is named first. The page order follows that list.
Forty to sixty words at the top that answer the question as a buyer asked it, in plain language, with the number or the name in the sentence. Everything else on the page supports that paragraph.
The comparison table, the prices with the date they were checked, the policy quoted from the policy page, the review count with its source. Assistants quote what they can verify on the same page.
An FAQ in the buyer's words, each answer complete on its own, marked up so an assistant can read it as question and answer.
The next weekly check shows whether the assistant read the page, quoted it, and named you; the dashboard counts it, and the answer is archived so you can read the exact sentence it used.
Comparison and alternatives questions decide the shortlist; review sites and roundups write the answer unless your pages do.

Read more →An SEO page is written to rank for a keyword; an AEO page is written to be quoted for a question. Both need the same technical floor (crawlable, indexed, eligible for a snippet) and after that they part ways. A ranking page can afford to open with context and arrive at the point by paragraph four; an answer page states the point in its first sentence, because that is the sentence the assistant lifts. Google's own guidance confirms the floor is shared: no special files, markup or chunking are needed for its AI features, and "the best practices for SEO continue to be relevant".
Generative engine optimization is the campaign: being cited across many generated answers, which means the third-party sources as much as your own site. Answer engine optimization is the page: one question, answered so plainly it gets lifted. Rightcited runs both inside one program, because a page that gets lifted for "how much does X cost" is also the page a roundup links to and an assistant cites for "best X", and the weekly check measures both outcomes with one set of counts.
Answer engine optimization (AEO) is the practice of becoming the answer rather than a result: writing pages that state the answer to a specific question plainly, with the evidence beside it, so that AI assistants and answer boxes lift the statement and attribute it to you.
The ones buyers put to assistants in your category, in their words: best X for Y, X vs Y, is X legit, how much does X cost, does X do Z. The weekly check tells you which of them you are absent from and which pages the assistants read instead; those are the pages to write first.
The craft is similar (a direct answer near the top, a definition, a table) and the audience is wider. A featured snippet is one box on one results page; an assistant's answer is generated fresh for each buyer and draws on several pages at once, so the same plain answer can be quoted across many questions and four assistants.
As long as the question. A definition box of 40 to 60 words at the top, the direct answer, then the detail: the comparison, the numbers with sources, the exceptions, the FAQ. The assistants quote the plain sentence and read the rest to decide whether to trust it.
No. Every page, rewrite and correction is delivered ready to publish, and you publish it. The third-party work (listing requests, corrections at the source, placements) is ours to do and is logged for you with dates.
Core is $499 per brand per month, month to month, with the work included: up to ten pages, up to 20 listing and inclusion requests and up to one secured placement a month, the 50-question weekly check on all four assistants, the dashboard and the work log. Grow is custom. The AI Page Check runs one page through all four assistants for $2.99.
Pages the assistants read with search on can be picked up within days of publishing; a correction at a third-party source takes as long as that site takes; a placement is weeks. Nothing is marked fixed until the weekly check shows the new answer holding on two consecutive checks.
Or start smaller: the AI Page Check runs one page through all four assistants for $2.99.
